Jerome Burke, MDDr. Burke is a native of Staten Island N.Y. He did his undergraduate studies at Boston University where he majored in Philosophy and was elected to Phi Bet Kappa. Dr. Burke received his medical degree from New York Medical College and stayed in New York to complete an internship at St. Vincent's Medical Center. In 1985 Dr. Burke moved to Philadelphia for his internal medicine residency. He served as chief medical resident at the University of Pennsylvania's Presbyterian Medical Center. In 1990 after completing his fellowship in Gastroenterology Dr. Burke moved to Sellersville. Since 1990 Dr. Burke has been an attending physician at Grand View and Saint Luke's Hospitals. He started Bux-Mont Gastroenterology Associates in 1992. Dr. Burke has a special interest in the treatment of chronic liver diseases and inflammatory bowel disease. BACK |
